Dry running, nothing to wear
The rotors do not touch each other or the housing, so there is no oil in the compression chamber and no wearing contact. The result is clean, oil-free air and low maintenance.

Noise is the maximum level in dB(A), ±3 tolerance. Footprint W × H is in mm; length (L) varies with the motor and is given in the performance table. Weights are approximate.
Pressure is gauge pressure (overpressure). Flow is free air delivered at the inlet. Speed 3450 rpm at 60 Hz and 2850 rpm at 50 Hz. Voltages 208–230/460 V, 220–240/380–420 V and 400/690 V. Ambient operating temperature 5 to 40 °C. Connections are BSP(G) threads, NPT available on request. Accessories included: pressure regulator, safety valve, inlet silencer and inlet filter.

Questions about claw compressors
What is a claw compressor?
A claw compressor is a dry-running rotary compressor. Two claw-shaped rotors turn without touching each other or the housing, so no oil is needed in the compression chamber and the air stays clean. Stratovac claw compressors are air-cooled and directly driven by a flanged motor.
Is the air really oil-free?
The compression chamber is dry-running and contact-free, so no oil is used in it. Gear box oil is kept separate from the air path.
Which pressures and flows are available?
From 68 to 600 m³/h (40 to 353 cfm) at 60 Hz, and 56 to 500 m³/h at 50 Hz, with continuous pressures from 0.6 to 2.2 bar (9 to 32 psi) depending on the model and motor. See the tables above for every combination.
Can it run continuously?
Yes. The range is designed for continuous duty and high efficiency.
